if u want to oc, tim is a bare necessity.
To @ochin & Others : Thermalpaste ekbarei na thakle temps can cross the killswitch of the core (100C on most cases). Shob Processor e paste applied thake on the base of the cooler. U will see a ash liquid that the T.I.M (Thermal Interface Material) or as we all call it "Thermal Pest/Paste/Grease". GPUs however come assembed with the cooler hence the paste is pre-applied there too.
Don't worry if u don't open the CPU Cooler & don't plan to OC then the stock paste is good enough & yes theres a 1-10C between the stock & aftermarket paste. Hope Ur clear now.
To the OP : How long has the paste been lying unused ? I want to know becoz I might just get it for collection. Its a good TIM.
