story
The story follows series protagonist Artyom as he aims to escape the underground tunnels of Russia players have grown to know. Set 25 years after the nuclear bombs wiped out the Earth’s populace, the last remaining survivors aim to escape Russia and go east in search of life. Metro Exodus aims to deliver a “…continent-spanning journey…” that will have users try and survive the deadly wilderness of Russia.

If u are a serious fan , i would recommend to avoid watching the last one (i also haven't seen last two fully).
Look at the animation details while getting things in and out from the backpack , the crisp texture and detailed yet very wide open environment.

I know it feels like 'not-so-metro' anymore, but look for tunnel gameplays, i bet they should feel the same as before.

Console peesants are looking at this and laughing at us PC legends saying how their consoles can still play new/exclusive games at 4k(?) 30fps without any worries while we cry about our beastly PC hardware becoming obsolete within 2 years
They have their advantages. But this is utter crap. We can get console level details with an rx470 easily. Only big advantage they have is those exclusives.
my eyes will bleed black if I see 30 fps. enuff said.

On steam page :seems like it's gonna be epic store exclusive.Notice: Later today, sales of Metro Exodus will be discontinued on Steam due to a publisher decision to make the game exclusive to another PC store. The developer and publisher have assured us that all prior sales of the game on Steam will be fulfilled on Steam, and Steam owners will be able to access the game and any future updates or DLC through Steam. We think the decision to remove the game is unfair to Steam customers, especially after a long pre-sale period. We apologize to Steam customers that were expecting it to be available for sale through the February 15th release date, but we were only recently informed of the decision and given limited time to let everyone know

Why is that sad news? Good for them for getting away from Steam. I only wish more devs would do that.
It would've been sad news for regional gamers like us if Epic didn't give a damn about regional pricing. BUT luckily, they are honoring regional prices. The game costs only $19.99 for our region, while it costs $49.99 in US region. Now gotta figure out how to buy the damn game from Epic store since it doesn't have a wallet system like Steam, and I don't have Paypal or intl credit card. GG
It's sad news cause they have been advertising it on steam and now making it Epic store exclusive right before few days of release. Not to mention there's no steam wallet like thingy for epic store yet so it's gonna be hard to buy. Also Epic store is slow af, it takes minutes to navigate each page but I guess that's my ISP's fault.
Might as well pirate the game now.
Steam wallet being so widespread is so easy to get a hold of especially in 3rd world countries like ours. Getting epic is gonna be a pain in the butt now
