    Default The Onion Movie

The movie is about a news programme in a random tv channel, which serves random news articles to the viewers- news as random as a man who misplaced his favourite socks. Through this randomness, the movie takes a dig at the current American lifestyle and stereotypes and prejudices common in the present world. The jokes get a bit recurring, wacky and banal sometimes but the movie pulls through.

Behind the scenes, Onion News's corporate owner, Global Tetrahedron, seeks synergy by promoting its other products within Norm's news broadcast. Norm doesn't like it, especially when a toy penguin (think Energizer Bunny) waddles across his desk promoting a Global Tetrahedron film starring Steven Seagal. But Norm may end up needing Steven's help
