VIDEO GAMES RUINED MY LIFE
Gandhi said "Be the change what you want to see in the world". Did you ever ask your father how he earn the money for your precious gaming pc or the money you will spent in usa study!
I returned to BD last year, and it was during Ramadan. So i ate lotta street-food, and i went to my "desher bari" and ate there, and i ate at some restaurants as well. And guess what? Every single time i ate street-food, i was perfectly fine. But the 2 times i ate at restaurant in Dhanmondi and some other place, i got stomach aches.
Point is, i think street-food is demonized in BD media, but in reality its much better than the restaurant food. And the reason is: street-food is prepared/served right infront of your eyes, whereas in the restaurant you have no idea whats going on in the kitchen. Sure, street-food is prone to "dhula bali", but last i checked ppl wash their dishes with "chai" & "dhula bali", its not as bad as germs/bacteria you get from the dirty or rotten food in restaurant/fastfood places.
I also ate at one "chinese restaurant", altho i didnt get sick it was mad expensive. I boycotted going to any of the high-end fastfood places cuz i know they charge waay too much and just rip people off!! i settled for Star Kabab and other cheaper places, but i was shocked how prices rose from just a few yrs ago!! But i must say, ppl are using waay too much oil in food, that also gave me and my brother upset-stomaches many times!!
Prepared right in front your doesn't change the fact that it has been lying there for a while or longer, plus you don't know what is being mixed, so the uncertainty of the restaurants remain. Your immunity sysmtem is/was weak at that time since you've haven't had the bhejal food in a while.
If things are even gonna change its gonna take a long while when everything else is f'd up
