Since I live in the UK and have not visited in the last 12 years, I wanted to know about the gaming and internet side of things. Please feel free to inform me.

How much does a PS3 or XBOX360 console cost ?
How much do genuine and fake PS3 or XBOX games cost and how likely are you to find shops selling them? Over here, genuine AC Revelations PS3 is £18 at the moment ( 18 X 130 = Tk 2340 )
How popular are consoles? i.e. in cities like Dhaka, how many people in a 10 storey building with 20 flats will have a console ?
What is the average internet speed and how much does it cost ?
Is multiplayer popular ?

Can you buy things on BD e-shopping websites and pay using a Debit/Credit card and have them delivered to your house?
Can you pay for items at stores using a Debit / Credit card?

Are there dedicated BD e-tailers selling PC parts ?

Who are the main mobile service providers? Do international providers like Vodafone operate in BD?
Do pay monthly contracts exist? If yes, what are the rates and how many mins. do you get per month ?
How much does it cost to call a landline or another mobile per min. ?

If you have UK card, the answer would be yes. No reliable e-tailers exist in BD.

At most larger shopping chains/malls, yes. Individual shops are cash only, as you probably already guessed.

No.

Telenor (Grameenphone), Axiata (Robi), Orascom (banglalink), Bharti Airtel (Airtel) are the major operators.

Rare, but packaged connections do exist for postpaid clients. Refer to the sites' for more info.

BD is arguably the worlds' least expensive country cell phone rates wise.

512 kbit/s is probably the average now, depends on who you take it from. 1k - 1.5k, mostly. Look around in your area, etc.

What is postpaid??? Pre-paid bhujlam is same as Payasyougo topup stuff but .. Postpaid...?
Is it the same as Pay monthly that we have ehre where you are in a contract of 12 months for example and pay a fixed amount per month via Direct debit and get a fixed amount of mins. per month ( e.g. 900 ) , txts and data allowance ?

The billing circle is monthly for the postpaid connections and you will be under a certain credit limit and you have to clear the bills before you reach your limit.
