StarCraft II is a trilogy of military science fiction real-time strategy video games currently under development by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft. At BlizzCon 2008, it was announced by Blizzards VP of Game Design, Rob Pardo, that StarCraft II would ship in three stand-alone installments rather than as one distinct game, provisionally entitled Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void respectively for the Terran, Zerg and Protoss factions. Blizzard states that while the concept for the games is similar to that of expansion packs, each game will be distinct. No release dates were announced for the trilogy.
StarCraft II is being developed for concurrent release on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS X. Blizzard announced the game would be released in 2009.
Looks so C&C-like...:S
