I'm no mobile freak either, they are expensive. But I do know a thing or two about Androids.

What phone did you brick and how exactly did you wind up there? What phone/model/firmware/method(flashing) did you use? Lemme see if I can be of help, but can't guaranty anything.

I think, xda-developers forum is far better than imserba.com for android. And dailymobile.se for symbians.

i am searching about bricking solution for 2-3 months :\ .. Possible solutions are only JTAG |which currently doesn't include my phone's unbricking soft - Model is i9010|

and other one is unbrickable mod made by hummingbird team -- It will be tough but can be done if a android hardware expert get to learn this .

but i have come to a conclusion about jtag that includes i897's unbrick soft |which 70-80% similar to i9010 | but i dont know whether it will work or not | :S
#The mobile is hard bricked . so NO DL MODE . NO RECOVERY MOOD . So wont work wihtout hardware modding

than you sure knew dotsis.com don't you? Really those days are gone. I literally left foruming after dotsis.com has gone. And long after that BG has brought me into foruming again.

If the only practical solution is JTAG, then you will need a JTAG adapter which is compatible with your i9010 board.

The process will include: with the JTAG console

-Reading from the NAND (assuming it's not corrupt)
-Write to NAND (modifying bootloader) ie only possible if you unlocked your bootloader

Bringing a JTAG device to BD will be almost impossible, and will cost a ton. IIRC it was RS10,000 to bring a JTAG device to India for unlocking a X10. In short, give it up Sadi man. You will long waste hours trying to revive this, than saving up and buying a new phone. There is even no guaranty that the JTAG procedure will work for your phone.

Though if you are still up for a challenge, look into LIL' USA/amazom.com.bd (FB groups). These guys can supposedly buy stuff from ebay, which is your best bet for finding a JTAG device.

Another note: Can you enter "fastboot/S1 boot"? Or access the kernel?

-Write to NAND (modifying bootloader) ie only possible if you unlocked your bootloader

Bringing a JTAG device to BD will be almost impossible, and will cost a ton. IIRC it was RS10,000 to bring a JTAG device to India for unlocking a X10. In short, give it up Sadi man. You will long waste hours trying to revive this, than saving up and buying a new phone. There is even no guaranty that the JTAG procedure will work for your phone.

Thought if you are still up for a challenge, look into LIL' USA/amazom.com.bd (FB groups). These guys can supposedly buy stuff from ebay, which is your best bet for finding a JTAG device.

Another note: Can you enter "fastboot/S1 boot"? Or access the kernel?
nono . i will not buy it . jtag service is available in bd afaik . eastern plazateo ase . | i am in a confusion about the jtag soft of i897 using for i9010 >.< |

But will the JTAG adapter work for your i9010 board?

Answer me this, it's not that there's a universal adapter which will work with any phone. There are pins which varies from device to device, and there are a dozens of JTAG.

You still didn't answer my previous question: How did you brick your device? I mean what were you doing when it got bricked.

*Fastboot/S1 boot* uses the devices bootloader to boot into unsigned(hacked/modified/whatever you name it) kernels, so that it is free of the official loader. If you can access the loader of your phone, then it can be flashed back to it's original firmware, but tell me this: how exactly did you "hard brick" the device?

    Likely case:

    >Low battery(less than 25% or minimum needed to complete the flash)
    >Corrupt bootloader, trying to flash unsigned kernels by modifying NAND
    >Corrupt flash due to bad(unrecognized) file i.e the kernel
    >Forced flash, likely corrupting bootloader- device is unrecognized while initializing startup.

I would go with the 4th. And S1/fastboot will only work if your device has the capability to boot from fastboot, and if it's working. Hard brick = corrupt bootloader and in any case corrupt bootloader = no access to S1 boot/fastboot I'm afraid.

Sadi were you flashing kernels when this happened? The only way to "hardbrick" is to force flash some kernel which directly uses the device's bootloader. If the flash is not successful(when using fastboot), you are left with a soft brick which can be recovered but not hard brick without a JTAG.

    I have a SE mini pro Sk17i.
I did not unlock the bootloader.
    Rooted using zergrush.
    CWM by Xperia CWM Auto-Installer.
I tried to flash ExMIUIv4 2.2.10-r1. And now it doesnt go pass the Sony Ericsson text. ADB REBOOT works. Fastboot doesnt work. and also ADB SHELL doesnt work. Looks like I am screwed as I did not unlock the bootloader

Is there any tool like Odin from SE?.. Also as ADB works (shell doesn't. says cant mount system or something) is there any way to get it working.

also is there a download mode for se phone?

    Any ideas?

Salman bhaiya you didn't unlock the bootloader right? Just flash the phone back using Sony Ericsson PC Companion, or Flashtool for SK17i, and a Gingerbread firmware.

Salman bhaiya you didn't unlock the bootloader right? Just flash the phone back using Sony Ericsson PC Companion, or Flashtool for SK17i, and a Gingerbread firmware.
PC companion doesnt recognize my phone. IT says a SE phone is connected but cannot identify the phone.
