Default Monitor suggestion for rx480 8gb and gtx 1060 6gb

Hey bhai brothers, recently I bought Rx 480 8gb without knowing anything about monitor. Its still brand new so I can change it to gtx 1060 6gb.But one thing is so confusing and that is should I keep it for a passive 3d monitor or change it to nvidia with active 3d monitor?

Another thing I found is there are no passive 3d monitors available in Bangladesh. So I have to get Lg D2342p Cinema 3d monitor from abroad. Here is the monitor which I want to get for Rx 480.

    http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-D2342P-3d-monitor

And how about if I choose to change my rx480 over gtx 1060 for the ASUS VG248QE 3d monitor which is available in Bangladesh.

    http://www.startech.com.bd/asus-vg248qe

Now here is the catch. If I find Lg one I have to pay huge tax I think?Anyone can confirm? And if I buy asus one then I have to buy nvidia 3d vision kit with huge price beside monitor price. Its a serious dafuc situation.

So guys anyone please suggest me what should I do?Get the gtx 1060 or keep the rx480 for my choices of monitors? Thanks in advance friends.

3D is dead. It never caught on. Neither on "vidya gayms" nor "moovis". It was all the craze back in 2008-2012. But now it's just an useless gimmick.

But if you really want a 3D HTPC, here's a cheap solution using Intel iGPU back in 2011

Current gen VR headsets are quite expensive as well as the hardware required to power VR games.

Razer is bringing a HMD at $400. PSVR is $400. It's like PC market. You pay huge money for best experience (HTC Vive) or less for mediocre experience.

3D is very harmful and unnatural for eyes. Did I blow your mind? Probably not.

Because in real world your eye lens changes it's focal point when you look close and your tow eyes converges at the particular point when you are looking. The more you take the object further, the more your both eye diverges and at one point, both eyes become parallel to the line of vision. And all these time, your eye lens are changing it's focus to the distance you are looking at.

On 3D monitors, TVs, are you really changing your focus? No, you don't. You monitor doesn't go back and fourth. It stays in one single position. But your both eyes keep converging or diverging to get the pseudo 3D effect. And it's no way natural.

Will it make you blind? Probably not. But it is definitely something to consider if you have eye problems.

I've played 3D games on my cousins house and while it didn't gave me a head ache or any sort of eye strain, I definitely felt something wasn't natural. And that my eyes weren't doing something that it usually does.

Anyway, 3D can be really good when done right. But with the current state of support for 3D games, the raw power required to push 3D when you try to force in games that don't support 3d normally [Crysis 3 and ROTR are some the games that has native support for 3D within the game and it doesn't cut the performance too much. Have seen 5 FPS difference at best] and all other problems, including possible eye strains and headache and the possibility to harm your vision, it's probably not worth at this point.

Can't say about VR. But yeah, 3D vision is dead now. That's for sure.

Thanks for the heads up friends.I went with asus vg248qe and it is a nice monitor to me. Playing at 144hz is a new experience for me which is awesome.I also changed my rx480 to gtx 1070 for 3d.But I don't know about you guys for me I enjoy 3d whenever I can.I have sony 40" 3d tv which is worst than ever for 3d.I don't know why sony made such a crap active 3d tv.I will never buy a sony product again. They are branded cheaters.Their home theater system is also crap for me.
After sony I bought a 55" lg passive 3d tv and I cannot explain how good the 3d is on this tv.I watch 3d movies on this whenever I can.The fantastic tech I love so much to watch.Even the logitech z5500 sound system beats the pricey Sony haha.
But cannot play on this lg tv because its in our drawing room where my parents watch tv too.And my pc is in my living room so I had to go for the new monitor. Now just waiting for the nvidia 3d kit to experience upgraded active 3d.Anyways thanks again.
