    Smile Suggestion needed for a new PC build for 2017

    Intel Core i5 -7500 16,000/=(Won't be overclocking; so no "K" cpu for me nor a Z series mobo)
    Asus PRIME B250M -PLUS 8,800/=
    Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB VRAM 43,500/=
    Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GBx2= 16GB DDR4 @ 2400MHz 10,200/=
    SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB SSD 8,800/= (NVMe M.2 SSD has a very little practical improvement over regular SSD; though it's theoretically 5x faster than MLC SSDs)
    Segate 1TB HDD 5,000/=
    Corsair 100R Mid Tower Casing 4000/=
    Cooler Master GM G750M Power Supply 8,800/=
    Any Keyboard and Mouse 1,000/=
    Xbox 360 Controller 1,600/=
    LG 22MP68VQ-P 21.5 Inch IPS Panel Monitor 11,000/=

    Your current rig is more than enough for a GTX 1060. Or has it gone Kaput?

    A GTX 1060 isn't really an upgrade over the GTX 970.

    My current rig is not current any more. It's used by my elder brother. So now the budget has got the clearance, i can build a new one.

    don't buy gtx 1060 3gb... if u can; buy gtx 1070 or if u r on a budget buy gtx 1060 6gb... 3-4 gb will handicap ur performance even on 1080p (for example fury cards perform worse than 300 series cards in a lot of games and 6gb 980ti annihilates the whole series )...

    - - - Updated - - -

    oh and why r u choosing i5 7400 when u can get i5 7500 for 1000tk more .... if u r on a budget u can simply afford i5 7500 and gtx 1070 if u sacrifice on peripherals and SSD..

    i dont understand.... you do realize with 120k u can afford 1070gtx LOL.

    1070

    7600k 20k
    mobo 13k

    ram 9.5k 3200

    ssd
    1tb 13k

    psu casing ~10k

    cooler 2.5k

    monitor 12-14

    keyboard mouse is like ~4k or more

    so thats ~127k

    or wait for ryzen 5 , u can save some money in motherboard

    or buy 7500 instead of 7600k and buy cheaper motherboard and ram too.

    • Intel Core i5 7600k – 20k

    • Cooler Master Seidon 120V Plus – 5k
    • Antec Koohler H600 – 4.5k
    • Deepcool Maelstrom 120T – 4.4k
    Deepcool Maelstrom 240T RED – 5.8k (idt the price is correct. but if it is, then the best one at this budget!)

    • Z270 chipset motherboard – Gigabyte has 4 models / MSI has 2 models / ASUS has 2 models under – 15k | You can get more models if you increase budget to 18k

    • Team Vulcan 16GB (8GBX2) DDR4 3000Mhz – 9.1k
    • G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (single stick) DDR4 2400Mhz – 9.3k
    • Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (8GBX2) DDR4 3200Mhz – 10.2k (Vengeance LED is 11.5k)

    • SAMSUNG 960 EVO 250GB M.2 NVMe SSD – 11.5k

    • Western Digital Blue / Seagate / Toshiba 1tb 7200 rpm HDD ≈ 5k

    • Thermaltake PS-TPD-0750MPCGEU-1 Toughpower 750W 80Plus Gold Modular Power Supply – 9.8k
    • Cooler Master GM G750M Power Supply – 8.8k
    • Deepcool DQ750ST 750W 80Plus Gold Modular Power Supply – 10k

    • Rapoo V720 RGB-backlit Mechanical Keyboard – 7.5k
    • Rapoo V510 Vpro Mechanical Keyboard – 4k
    • Delux KM-02 Mechanical Keyboard – 5.1k
    • GIGABYTE K-85 Mechanical Keyboard – 6k
    (cheap mech keyboards usually give you Blue switches which are good for writing but not-so-good for gaming. Red/Black is for strictly gaming. Red for all around gaming, Black for mostly RTS. But Brown switch is a good compromise between both. Check the switch before buying)

    • Mouse is your choosing. It should compliment your play style (mostly fps, mostly mmo), grip (claw, palm, finger tip, hybrid) and weight (heavy >100g or light ≤100g). Use one of your friends' or known acquaintances for a few weeks. SteelSeries, Logitech, Zowie, Corsair, Roccat are good brands. Actually anything beside Razer is good. Avoid Razer like the plague.

    • Same for PC case. Since cases are mostly a aesthetic things, choose what you like best to look at. Then we'll narrow it down here according to features.

    • Someone else should/can help you on monitors.

    What i have found out in my digging on the web is, usually 6GB version has only about a 10% gain in graphical performance than of the 3GB version of GTX 1060. And since i'll be gaming stricly in 1080p, i don't think more VRAM would give me any practical gain in FPS count.

    For 127k
    Buy GTX 1080 60k (don't waste money on 1070 ) or Wait a Month for Vega ,gtx 1080 will be sold in 50k

    Ryzen 1600 --18k or buy a second hand i7 (don't waste money on i5, Total waste)

    Monitor Ultrawide 29 inch(wait a month cheap products are coming )or 27 inch (144hz ) 1080p 30 k . 1440 p 24inch 23.5 k (already available in Bd or wait a month Cheap monitors coming in may ,june ( these monitors will give Another Level of Gaming Feel) or ----buy the Already available startech 50k Asus pb298q monitor(you won't regret it ) (1070+Asus 29) or (Gtx 1080 +27 inch 144hz)

    Above 3 items are the Most Important 108k Investment that will Make the Difference in Gaming.So you change any of them ,Your Whole Setup will Feel like a Mediocre setup

    Rest of the ,Mobo,high priced Ram,Casing ,PSU ,Hard Disk won't make much difference in gaming .Don't Waste Your Money in products which Will not make your pc feel like a 127 K setup( i m sure you can increase the budget little bit to make your PC the Ultimate Setup) .

    8 gb ram can be enough for most task ,no need for gold PSU ,any 4000 tk PSU will work ,Gaming Mobo not necessary(Mostly a waste of money),buy a 128gb/60gb ssd to put your operating system on ,keep your other data on HDD ,as that is better for data safety ,don't get friend with voltage spike

    I can't go a single poysha above 120k. So no GTX1080 for me.

    Actually Even with My Advised Setup You still can buy Rest of the PC parts for 20k left on your Budget .(second hand i7 12k(shakil tech ) or second hand i5 8k ,ram used ,there are option to save some money to keep the other important product within the budget)

    Wait a Month ,This is the Worst time for Buying any PC hardware ,Within a Month you will see Huge price drop on GPU & New Imported BD monitors will come with 30% price drop after a Month .So be patient just remember GPU & Monitors two Of the Most Important Investment for a gaming setup .You can't go cheap on any of these two option .

    ps: just to save you from trouble, you can not provide a list where he affords all that within 120k budget. you CANT, period. so stop wasting our time please. he needs to stick with 1070, i would admit that 1060 would be bad choice for 120k setup.

    .
    You are thinking like a a poorly written AI .Human brain should realize what is the Main priority & what need to be sacrificed to reach that ultimate goal .You win some ,you lose some .Surely for any other PC Builder 20k for Mobo,Hardisk,Casing ,ram Should be enough & Yeah He Still have 20k After Buying a GTX 1080 ,R5 1600 & a 30k Monitor

    Intel Core i5 -7500 16,000/=(Won't be overclocking; so no "K" cpu for me nor a Z series mobo)
    Asus PRIME B250M -PLUS 8,800/=
    Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB VRAM 43,500/=
    Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GBx2= 16GB DDR4 @ 2400MHz 10,200/=
    SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB SSD 8,800/= (NVMe M.2 SSD has a very little practical improvement over regular SSD; though it's theoretically 5x faster than MLC SSDs)
    Segate 1TB HDD 5,000/=
    Corsair 100R Mid Tower Casing 4000/=
    Cooler Master GM G750M Power Supply 8,800/=
    Any Keyboard and Mouse 1,000/=
    Xbox 360 Controller 1,600/=

    It would be really helpful if you guys can suggest and give me your insights on better products for this build, or if it is okay as it is. Plus i need a 1080p IPS monitor for gaming with this PC and also my PS4. I would really appreciate all of your inputs on this. Thanks in advance.
    I have tried to stay within your budget.

    CPU (if Intel): Intel Core i7 7700 -> 25,300 (link)
    Motherboard (if Intel): Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H -> 7,600/= (link)
    Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V (8GBx2) 2400 -> 9,200/= (link)

    CPU (if AMD): AMD Ryzen R5 1600 -> 20,000 (price is based upon the current price of R7 1700 price in Bangladesh)
    Motherboard (if AMD): Asus Prime B350-Plus -> 10,000/= (link)
    Memory: G.Skill Trident Z (8GBx2) 3200 -> 12,500/= (link)

    Storage: Intel 600P 256GB M.2 SSD -> 8,450/= (link)
    Storage: Toshiba 2TB HDD -> 5,500/= (link)
    Graphics Card: Zotac GTX 1070 -> 40,300/= (link)
    Casing: Thermaltake Versa N26 -> 4,100/= (link)
    PSU: Thermaltake TR2 600W 80+ Gold -> 6,800/= (link)
    Monitor: LG 22MP68VQ FHD IPS 75Hz -> 11,700/= (link)

    Total: 120,000/=

    AMD system might need some tinkering as it is a new platform. However, you need to OC both the R5 1600 CPU and the Trident Z 3200 memory for optimal performance in gaming.

    Intel 600P is shiiit. Here's the issue http://www.techspot.com/review/1254-intel-ssd-600p/

    Tt TR2 Gold is also shiiit. I'll stay a thousand metre away from it.

    And to the members who are pushing for GTX 1080, get a grip on reality mate. That's just 16-20% performance increase for a whooping 65% price increase (Zotac GTX 1070 @40.5k vs Zotac GTX 1080 @67k). That's not economical. GTX **80 were never economical. GTX **70 were the best bang for buck.
    My probable next build: Qisan MagicForce 68 (Outemu switch) / Teamwolf Zhuque+ 87 TKL (Outemu) / Monoprice Select series full size (Outemu/Gateron) / Drevo Gramr 84 TKL (Outemu) • Logitech G102 Prodigy • Deepcool Dukase V3 / Thermaltake Versa U21 • Superlux HD 681 • Creative Sound Blaster E1 • LG 22MP68VQ • SteelSeries QcK • Generic executive chair • others TBA

    djrock please don't bother me. You are in my ignore list so I don't have to see literal poop.
