    Default Robi brings contract phones

For the first time a telecom operator is set to launch contract phones in bangladesh this april.last year on november robi launched 5(including galaxy s2) phones and 2 tablets for corporate partners as a feasibility study to see if the campaing is sucessful.the selling rate was huge and the campaign was a success and it ended on december.robi will be launching contract phones this april-june at different rates.this time there will be more phones.

maybe most of you have seen leaflets on nokia stores selling phones with contracts.I heard all this from a relative of mine.he also gave me the leaflets during the feasibility study.a great news for people who hasn't bought a smartphone yet.

today i also saw on the newspaper that teletalk will get the license to 3g this april.

What they should really do is sell iPhones in contract. It's a totally safe bet for them since iPhones cannot be carrier-unlocked. But I guess they'd have to set something up with Apple first.

How? I get 5500*12= 66000. Actually there are people whose phone bills run in this range. It's a good deal for them

if they have given some packages like 1000tk/mo with say 1gb data+postpaid upto 350 minutes, there would be a lot of guys buying this

Good news, but I think that these phone are ''specially'' made.

Maybe they have some inside deal with the makers......

Those are actually way better rates than here in the US. Galaxy S2 costs 200USD + cheapest plan is 90USD per month and thats 2GB data + 450 minutes on verizon + 250 texts (optional; 5usd). Chintar baire je BD rates so much better lol
