Spray on some clear if you can, waxing would be useless on a matt base without any clear.

    Automotive or Wardrobe painting shops.
I'd advice not to use local spray paint as they'll scratch off easily leaving you in a worse shape than you started off. But if you are painting it glossy black, that's a whole different story. Glossy seemed to be "Stronger".

Gawsia is one. There are a couple of huge paint shops opposite to fruit vendors.

check auto paints shop.....you'll get primer there......i asked abt primer at a auto paint shop @ katabon last week......they asked 1250/= (1 litre) and its in a spray container....however, since such quantity is not required for even a double coat on the whole casing, it's better to take your components/parts to a auto garage and ask them to apply primer....that would be more economical.....

ot: does any one know the cost of a rivet tool?

Are you familiar with the one-time-cooking-at-home concept? It's like this: http://puu.sh/2I4Rc.png (or the law of increased dimensions, as sane people call it.)
I think primer is one of those expensive spices. It's more cost efficient to have someone else base coat it for you. Of course, unless you use it quite frequently.

That being said, they have aerosol primer.

but i heard, primers are essential if you want to have a nice glossy finish.

and again thanks for the info.

Get it painted from a shop, I've tried most of the brands available here and it doesn't even take effort to scratch the paint off. Best if you can get it powdercoated or atleast apply a bonding compound before painting (primer). Though the primer from "Bio-Bang" is pretty much useless, the paint comes off too easily.
