I actully eat rice only in the lunch time.Roti or other things for breakfast and dinner.

Although personaly i don't have any problem in eating rice. It's plain and simple. It's easy for our mom to prepare meals when it contains rice as a main item.

I usually stay out during lunch hour, eating whatever stuff I can find. (food only) Once my lunch was a cup of vanilla ice cream and fuchka. On Topic: No matter what I eat, eating a plate full of rice just hits the spot... Saturday is my day at home and had a good serving of steamed rice with chicken, and had a good nap afterwards... perfect day...

    Noobs... ...dont take it personally

using pressure cooker will turn your so called bhaat in to rice soup. it will not be bhaat

you know making perfect rice is an art itself. if you overcook it its gonna burn real fast before you can turn the heat down. if you under-cook it its gonna be grainy.

if you use too much water its gonna be gloopy. if you use too less its gonna be touch or will not be properly boiled.

guys pls try to learn to some basic cooking skills. i personally can cook around dozen dishes and know the basics for some advanced dishes. i mean i can cook them but they will not be tasty. as i do not have enough experience to calculate measurements. but still they are edible.

most of my friends who are all guys cant even cook anything except eggs and maybe tea.

    thats really sad
and for the record. cooking is actually a real science. you can search for the term "Molecular gastronomy" to know the details.
this one thing we do minimum thrice everyday. and i am kinda shocked to see how much people has no idea about this

@TheNutKicker rice is one of the best food in this world. you know why it doesnt have really strong flavor. it is goo as it goes really well with thousands of other dishes. you know once someone send us a 15 type of bhorta. try bhortas, curries, fries, lentils, sauces you name it and it goes with rice.

that is one of the main reason rice is so popular in this continent. i dont know you take rice with what?. but if you are not eating rice only it should be really interesting.

and even only rice can be really tasty. try searching for sushi rice

    Noobs... ...dont take it personally

using pressure cooker will turn your so called bhaat in to rice soup. it will not be bhaat

you know making perfect rice is an art itself. if you overcook it its gonna burn real fast before you can turn the heat down. if you under-cook it its gonna be grainy.

if you use too much water its gonna be gloopy. if you use too less its gonna be touch or will not be properly boiled.

guys pls try to learn to some basic cooking skills. i personally can cook around dozen dishes and know the basics for some advanced dishes. i mean i can cook them but they will not be tasty. as i do not have enough experience to calculate measurements. but still they are edible.

most of my friends who are all guys cant even cook anything except eggs and maybe tea.

    thats really sad
and for the record. cooking is actually a real science. you can search for the term "Molecular gastronomy" to know the details.
this one thing we do minimum thrice everyday. and i am kinda shocked to see how much people has no idea about this

I Meant everyday Rice with Fish,With Chicken, with bhorta with chanchur with beef, with goat, god it gets sick.

@xTypIcaL.saIyaNx No I'm not in NYC but I did get a chance to have gyro once, didn't try it though. I'll try it the next time I go to DC. I did have Fogo De chao, best steak experience of my life. Literally people with knifes and big pieces of meat walk around the restaurant and serve you when you call them, eat as much as you want along with unlimited mashed potato, fried banana (don't ask) and access to the salad bar. All for 35usd

Got nothing more to discuss about. Is it me or its just getting lame around here recently. Seriously, I mean look at us all gamers taking about rice and noodles instead or Max Payne 3 or the PC and the console guys bashing each other.
