speed onk pabo but initially onk expensive hobe.the govrnmnt is reducing bandwith price every year so hopefully atleast amra 2-5mbps afford korte parbo hopefully......

well winterise has said it. BD govt is inefficient. We have lots of resources but bcoz of bd govt, people is suffering.

Lets see 3G getting kicked off first, then talk about 4G.

And I believe 3G will have mad prices that are not at all affordable for us.

And if it does actually, GP/Teletalk should start fudging with us about the b/w. currently, the 10mb package of mobile gets half speed when you reach 5MB, so yeah, I don't think 3G is much of a revolution in bangladesh. although, if everything is true and it IS a miracle, I expect broadband prices to go WAY down.

Dunno details - but Comm Min Raju stated that a special committee recommendation has caused them to suspend production for the time-being; however, they will also assemble tablets in the future.
We are used to all these one foot forward and 10 feet back -- but I am guessing there is no longer any political mileage left in the project as well as economic benefits (for the big fishes).

That's a very wrong assumption. WiMAX update IEEE 802.16m is to offer peak rates of at least 1 Gbit/s fixed speeds and 100 Mbit/s to mobile users.
