If u r only buying a system for learning purposes then anything that fits ur needs can be sufficient,

in the future if ur planning on pro level freelancing then u have to buy a proper system depending on the work u r doing ... for web development u need an i7 for graphics designing u need an i7 and a mid tier gpu like gtx 950/1060 which is bare minimum, for web design u have to match ur client's specs and global color standards, good displays like retina displays cost sh*t ton of money.... Laptops are expensive desktops are cheap...

You can get the below one for 57K. I get it for my little bro for his Stat work.

    *** Install a 256M.2 SSD + a 22" IPS (glossy)monitor & you are good to go.
    Laptop+SSD+Monitor=75K

That laptop has 4GB ram. Really allrounder laptop, only downside is that it's i5 model doesn't have backlight keyboard.

Maybe I got luck. Quad Core i5+8GB DDR4 ram+ 2TB HDD+950M + Full HD display for 57K. My main intention was Dell 7559, but when i found out that it's i5 doesn't come with backlight keyboard, I got this Acer.
    * Usually Acer's laptop is cheap compared to Dell/Asus (same spec)

i think the lappy he suggested has only 950m. also i think you better call or ask the course teachers to know stuff because it's hard for me to tell.

i dont know whether they will use adobe photoshop/gimp/ after effect/ premiere or blender/3dsmax. blender 3dsmax premiere needs really good pcs

one of my friends taught their now he is with the government's learning and earning program ... in Creative It they will most probably teach u photoshop if u have enrolled for graphics design course, for that depending on load system with an i5 and 950 is enough.... u should actually specify which course u hv enrolled in ...
