There was an incident that occurred a few days ago and am gonna call out one guy for example among others whose name will be anonymous.
Yes, here's one about Sybaris Caesar. I don't like him, several reasons for that but am not going to express my disdain towards him. No I need to address one thing that he does and has done for a while, he called my previous APU rig crappy very definitively. It's slander, how would you feel if someone tagged you and called your system which you received with hard earned money s**t? I know my APU isn't as good as everybody's recent generation i5's but who is he to make that comment? Has he even played games with Kaveri APUs to justify without bias of making such opinion? I did, playing Division at Ultra without MSAA or higher Anti-Aliasing options. I was hitting above 40-50FPS with a GTX 960 and pretty higher with GTX 780 I had earlier. That game is CPU and GPU intensive btw, same story with Far Cry 4, Evolve. Rainbow Six Siege was giving me over 80 FPS with GTX 780, I got really low dips from 960 when I started using SMAA from the game except with 780. All the games I played ran fine except Fallout 4 and Witcher 3. Sybaris in my opinion I don't think he plays game, he browse a lot around the internet and impose himself as a so-so expert on everything and thinks he's above the rules. I stopped talking to him on Facebook based on certain areas where his actions left me baffled and irritated.
Now with that example out, I need to be clear again. This isn't only about him, anyone can exploit people with his knack for aggravating someone and then make other members agree with him and in return do a full fledge attack on his character or his opinions as a party. We had ridiculous track record of dramas around BG but most of us had the common sense to see through those, we knew how to think for ourselves. There can some members repeatedly opening threads of discussions which can be done with threads that were opened already or pretty simply answered at the back of his head or google instead of users gaining posts count answering in redundant fashion at some point. Let's not also forget some members regurgitate controversial posts and doing make believe that he thought he was doing the right thing. I have one simple question to ask, did we forget what we had to do to hold our standards in BG? we weren't high and mighty but we had code of conduct, we had rules. Now've we become lost, we have new members playing around nothing big to aspire too instead of just making stuff up that's disinteresting, members picking on members (am guilty of that too but I've addressed it to admins) in my 6 years of staying in BG. I felt like some of us were like a different family, heck there were female members as well and we paid quite respect to that. That day has settled somewhere within the shadows of yesteryears. We're human beings, we know people can make mistakes and some of us too but with time and best to our abilities we improvise, we practice caution and we learn to segregate ourselves from bad to good. We all still remember being burned out by a member of over 500 posts count who told us that he would purchase some of our items and pay money if we ship them to a specific rural area, then realize that he was stealing instead and he was untraceable.
Let's be more aware, It's good to see Anik bhai again starting threads of new games and happy announcements. Let's all show a semblance of fair treatment to people who play consoles, cause some of us do own consoles (me including). Let's be vigilante and hopefully look after newer members and older ones too (even me if you have too) Am considering of leaving BG after a few months and while it was a good ride, I can't find any reasons to stay here for much long especially cause of all this fiasco and this is my last summation in a perspective as much as I could give.
