De_Dust2
CS's most basic map. It's probably the most played map in CS and CSS. So here I will write a basic guide on the map.
Terrorists
As T in De_Dust2, there are 4 main routes to follow. A Long (through the double doors right of the T spawn), Cat Walk (also known as A top), Tunnel (go left from the T spawn), Mid (past the double doors near the Cat Walk).
Strat #1
A Long rush, there isn't much here, all 5 of you rush into A Long, with AKs and preferably an AWP. A player will drop down to the "Ditch", more popularly known as the "Wafi" in Uttara (Devil Blood / DmC), (aka the crack at A Long). Then you plant and if you can hold it, it's GR (good round). =P.
Strat #2
B rush, this one is simple as well. all 5 rush into B using the tunnel, with AKs and maybe an SMG. Then just have players watching the 3 entrances, Tunnel, Double Door, Crack. And if you can hold it once again, it's GR. =].
Strat #3
Cat Walk rush, this one is a lil complicated, coz you need to KILL the person watching the Mid, usually an AWP or a very good long range rifle will be there. Kill him, and go into A using the Cat Walk. Plant, hold and GR. =].
Strat #4
B Mid rush, this one is a lil hard as well, you must get past the CT at Mid, kill him, and go into B using the Mid Double Door, then the B Double Door.
For all starts smokes, flashes, nades and an awp may be required.
Counter TerroristsAs CT in De_Dust2, you need to look after 4 entrance points, A Long (long of bomb site A), Cat Walk (on top of the CT spawn, it's a secondary route to bombsite A), Mid (right outside of the CT spawn), and B (the bombsite and Tunnel).
Strat #1
2-1-2, this is the traditional start for CTs in De_Dust2, it involves, 1 A Long, 1 Cat Walk, 1 Mid, 2 B.
This strat involves 3 Colts and 2 AWPs.
Usually the one watching A long or Mid will be the AWP in the team, along with one guy watching B will be the AWP.
Strat #2
3-2, this one is risky and not used very much. This includes 2 A long, 1 Cat Walk, 2 B.
This strat involves 3 Colts and 2 AWPs.
1 AWP at A Long and 1 at B.
Strat #3
1-1-1-1-1, this is the craziest strat I've seen used. This includes, 1 A Long, 1 Cat Walk, 1 Mid, 1 B and the last player is a free lancer, he goes around rushing choke points with a p90.
this strat involves, 3 Colts, 1 AWP and 1 p90.
The CT watching Mid is the AWP, and the rest play with Colts.
Like all strats, smokes, flashes and nades will be needed. AWPs are required and should be deadly, if not, Colts' can always look after them.
