Lightbulb Help need for Alpine ex1000

Dear all: I have alpine ex1000 music system on my newly bought toyota noah SI 2014. But the regret is that that I am unable to make Bluetooth work of the set. when i click on bluetooth it just show no bluetooth. it does not even search for device.

Behind the screen of the display I have this option. It looks like a memory slot or chip slot for bluetooth. But I have nothing to insert it there.

Can anyone please help me to sort it out. Even the setting menu of the music system is not working.

    Thanks in advance.

You should ask your showroom tech guy to replace with a aftermarket double din head-unit. You probably could've get it done for almost free when you were negotiating the price of the car.

Regardless of the outcome of your quest its always a pain in the ¤¤¤ to live with Japanese head-unit.

i had to change mine because it would get stuck during folding.

if u do end up buying aftermarket HU don't get the touch sensitive ones they tend to get damaged far quickly if it's the driver who will be using it mostly. Just venting off years of frustration and experience. Good luck.
