Default Wireless options for 2 months Sylhet

    Hi,

I will be in Sylhet for around 2 months from beginning of February. I am looking for a wireless contractless/pay in advance/pay as you go solution.

I have been looking at OLLO. Would anyone recommend this?

I tried to get Grameen 4g last year which was advertised on the website but unavailable to actually purchase, so I made do with its extremely slow and limited 3g.

I have a Huawei B593 which I intend to use as. Would anyone know if this is compatible?

    Thanks

Both qubee and blion is available in sylhet area and also you can switch to broadband like link3 or smile as well, personally i think if you live in the town area's you will get the broadband service at decent price which is the best Internet solution to go for

Don't know about ollo's service quality. But you can select Banglalion, currently using it under reactivation offer and it's serving me quite well.(Be sure the have the coverage in the area where you will be living.AFAIK,the don't cover whole Sylhet city)If you need a stable and better connection you can go for Link3.(You have to apply couple of days earlier if you want to take link3). Another broadband provider-Smile is not recommended.

Thanks for replies. But surely Link3 etc would require long erm contract? I am only there for 2 months.

I need it mostly for working (VOIP) and gaming.

I was wondering if PC Garden's internet cafe alllows use to bring laptop and pay for connection to their network or install software on their pcs?

hspa+ is more like 3.75g, but apparently most telco's marketing department doesn't seem to care.

According to wikipedia, Ollo's network is band 7 lte, which your device supports. So it should theoretically work.

Actually PC garden is mainly a gaming zone. And the problem will be there is only 2 room and the place is quite small. So,it won't be a very comfortable place. Then again sometimes it's too noisy if there is a clan match or something like that going on.As far as i know, most of the PCs' bandwidth is capped and they keep one PC with full bandwidth. You can install soft-wares on their PCs .And also they have broken chairs, broken Kb too. Its better to avoid if you want to do few office work. But only for gaming,PC Garden is recommended.
