Exclamation Want some help to buy 1000VA UPS

I want to buy a 1000VA UPS and after seeing some renowned company I have decided to buy Rahimafrooz 1000VA Premium. But the problem is there is a huge difference in the price of IDB shop and RahimAfrooz itself:

Here is the Price: RahimAfrooz 1000VA Premium

RahimAfrooz Sales Point: 8000Tk (They give 2 Years Warranty in Parts and 1year Warranty in Battery)
Ryans Computer: 6800Tk (1 Year Warranty)
Binary Logic: 6300Tk (1 Year Warranty)

So has anyone the faintest idea whey there is so huge difference in Price. As far as i know RahimAfrooz has two types of UPS: 1.Eco 2. Premium.
But there is only Premium one for 1000VA as I heard from them. So if anyone know the reason behind this plz let me know. I was bought my whole PC setup from Binary Logic. So I want to buy it from there if there is no differecce between the products. Someone give me some advice.....

What premium ? I'm using the RahimAfrooz 1000VA myself, and there's no premium tag on it. :S I don't know if there are two versions i.e Eco/"Premium", but my one costed around 6.5K directly from RahimAfrooz(through a distributor) themselves, a few months back. Though this was a discounted price overall.

Discount cuz we bought two batteries for our IPS. I don't know how much backup my unit gives, since my PC is also hooked up to an IPS. The moment the electricity goes out, our IPS powers up almost instantly! So I cannot give you an actual figure, but I guess it would be somewhere around 15-20mins full load and 25-30mins idle I suppose ?

this is the price difference between Vendor pricing and Retail pricing

the thing is RA will not sell below 8k. This is their retail price. and that is the recommended price.

What the vendors do is sell these at a much lower price close to the price they get it from RA.

There is nothing wrong with them. and you will get full warranty and stuff.

You dont even have to bring them to Binary Logic. As RA will service these. Just get them to your nearest store.

And why shouldnt you buy thse?

I have bought 3+ premium 650 VAs for friends and they work fine to this date.

Get the 1kVA unit, before these guys increase the price even more. 6.3K is decent for that unit, that too it uses a 24V system(double battery in series) rather than the 12V systems which you get on most UPS.

Don't understand, which Product? If it is about APC then it is Far Far superior than Any other brands in BD. Actually it is the BEST in the world. So one can go for it trashing any other brands closing their eyes.....(if you have that much bucks to spend)

    ---------- Post added at 20:43 ---------- Previous post was at 14:45 ----------

Yup, bought it.... takes 8000/= from RahimAfrooz Sales point in Motijheel.. Now let me share something with you....

RAHIMAFROOZ has 4 UPS. They are:

    1. RAHIMAFROOZ 600VA (Economy) - 4100/-
    2. RAHIMAFROOZ 600VA (Premium) - 4600/-
    3. RAHIMAFROOZ 800VA (Economy) - 6500/-
    4. RAHIMAFROOZ 1000VA (Premium) - 8000/-

I went to Binary Logic in IDB and they gave me RA 1000VA(Economy) in 6000/-. Then i came back and buy 1000VA premium. I also asked them if they have any 1000VA Economy series or not. They told me they have no 1000VA(Economy) for RAHIMAFROOZ but they brought another brand named LUMINOUS(That also named RahimAfrooz on its Body as well as on its Packet) which has a 1000VA economy series and it costs 6500/-. So that's the difference that I confused me.

Hope this will help you guys......
