Unveiled last week at CES 2012 was the new flagship – hardcore enthusiast chassis from NZXT named the Switch 810. Those reporting from CES 2012 were unable to give any detail regarding this newly announced case because its official launch date was still pending.
And so it is with pleasure that today we will be bringing you an in-depth look at the new NZXT Switch 810. A full tower chassis available in black or white and boasting more features than you can wave a stick at. Switch 810 is built with water-cooling enthusiasts in mind and promises to deliver flexibility, good cable management and thermal performance. So let’s begin our analysis of the new NZXT Switch 810 and see whether this new flagship can accommodate both need and desire.
Over the past year or so we have taken a look at several cases from NZXT and on each occasion have come away impressed. Their previous cases offer solid build quality with unique design and one particular highlight was the Phantom case which was very reminiscent of a Star Wars Storm Trooper due to the finish used.
At CES this year NZXT were showing their latest case, the Switch 810 though little was being revealed about the product. Today it launches though and we have one of the first samples on our test bench. We will be taking a look at the case in detail but in addition to that will build a system around their Havik coolers and Hale82 PSU to see how the products perform together. That's a lot to get through so let's get started...
The new Switch 810 is a huge full- tower case, supporting big motherboards (E-ATX, XL-ATX, SSI CEB, and SSI EEB), a radiator for liquid cooling solutions up to 420 mm, and nine expansion slots. Let's explore this new release.
MSRP: $169.99 USD
Will hit US shelves before February 10th.
