Thread: PSU (and other component) suggestion for rx470 ?

Default PSU (and other component) suggestion for rx470 ?

I am building a PC and just bought the xfx rx470 4gb SF graphics card (paid only $170). The rest of my system will be the following (hopefully):

    - Asus H110M-A mobo
    - i5 6400,
    - 32gb (16x2) g-skill ddr4 ram, ( I run Unity 5, photoshop, visual studio etc heavy duty software all at once. So I don't think it is really a overkill for me )
    - 240gb transcend ssd,
    - external usb-3 hdd. (will add internal hdd later )

Now what psu should I get for it. Will the corsair vs450 be enough? Also if you think any component can be changed for a better alternative please suggest.

    - Get the i5 6500. It costs only 1K more and offers 500Mhz more as stock clock

    - Not a necessary advice [Try and get a 480GB/512GB ssd. Better yet get two 240GBs and RAID 0 them. You'll be amazed how much difference it will create while using your game development suite and loading and working on the projects from the ssd. Just don't forget to backup your projects elsewhere.]

    - Thermaltake TR2 450W 80+ Bronze (link) should be a good choice. However, I am not sure about RX 470, so wait for others to reply.

Ok. In that case I will get 240 gb ssd now and the other 240 later. I will use the ssd for Os+unity+VS+project files primarily. Thanks for the cpu suggestion.
