Thread: Help me buying a PC.

  1. #1

Default Help me buying a PC.

I want to buy a budget pc everything from UPS to Monitor. My budget is 55k. Is it possible?
I can play at 30 fps. But would still like a freesync monitor for later upgrades. Thank you.

    Intel Core i3-6100 - 9.5K
    H110M Mobo - 6K
    8GB DDR4 Ram -4K
    1TB HDD - 3.8K

    Dell S2216H - 10K/LG FreeSync -12K
    K+M - .7K
    Total=55-57K

You should spend another 10K to get Freesynce experience(FreeSync Monitor-12K+RX470-21K+500W-4K)
If you plan to keep your PC another 3-4 years without upgrade thn get i5(like [email protected]) with RX-460 2GB(Since you are planning a GPU upgrade). Just dont get i3 for longer run.

    I5 15k
    H110 5.5k
    1tb hdd 3.7k
    8gb ram 3.6k(avexir budget rams)
    Antec 450w psu 3.5k
    Freesync monitor 12k/any monitor 10k
    Casing 1.7k
    Zotac gtx 1050 mini/Sapphire 460 12k/10k

    Total: 56~58ish

    *why chosing i5 over i3?

Its because you can change your gpu, ram or anything anytime you want but you don't change cpu everyday, if you follow the reddit builds or other gaming budget builds from different YouTube channels (Linus prioritized) then you will see they tend to choose least quad core processors over dual because it have the tendency to run for more than 5 years

    *why considering 1050 over ti?

Considering price per performance ratio 1050ti isnt a huge deal instead 1050 is decent budget gpu plus it suits with this setup

    *why avoiding ups?

Ups is a must I agree but if you want to buy anything now then you might have to cut down much better viable parts form the list and I believe you can buy any good ups later on

    *about monitor...

Choose your gpu as the last buy and give more priority to the other parts and in wholesells you might get some discounts form the shops so it will help you more to chose which gpu you will end up buying, as per choice chose Amd if you truly need the freesync experience and avoid freesync monitor if you chose nvidia gpu

I did not understand the monitor part. I want to buy the LG freesync but I have heard people complaining i.e. not getting the freesync experience. I also need a speaker. And UPS is a must buy. Isn't 2gb too low for 1050? Please reply...

Freesync is a feature of amd gpus which works only with freesync monitors which means, if you buy nvidia gpu and also freesync monitor then the monitor will bind the freesync features and only works as a normal monitor for more info Google it. 2gb is fair amount vrams tbh as you are going with 1080p monitors and more vrams renders better with 4k resolution and vice versa with some other games and software which obviously depends on performance but for casual users like you I think 2gb is enough. Lastly for ups and soundbox you better increase your budget

I got it that Freesync works with AMD but since I will be upgrading my GPU down the year I want to get the monitor so that when I buy AMD I can get the benefits. And from which shop can I get the best price?

    @IAS111

    • The cheap FreeSync monitor in question is the LG 22MP68VQ.

    • Its FreeSync range is 40~75hz. Meaning FreeSync will only kick in when a game's fps is 40~75.

    • If fps is under 40 or above 75 it'll work like a normal monitor barring any improvement.
My probable next build: Qisan MagicForce 68 (Outemu switch) / Teamwolf Zhuque+ 87 TKL (Outemu) / Monoprice Select series full size (Outemu/Gateron) / Drevo Gramr 84 TKL (Outemu) • Logitech G102 Prodigy • Deepcool Dukase V3 / Thermaltake Versa U21 • Superlux HD 681 • Creative Sound Blaster E1 • LG 22MP68VQ • SteelSeries QcK • Generic executive chair • others TBA

djrock please don't bother me. You are in my ignore list so I don't have to see literal poop.

Never got the chance to use it. But heard a minor prblm with this model. "You can't unistall GPU drivers or go to Safe Mode with FreeSync option On. Plus you can't auto-update your drivers. You need to disable FreeSync first, thn do the rest of the work(GPU)."
