Default Core i7 2600k overclock on AsRock Extreme 3 Gen 3 motherboard....

ami amar 2600k apatoto 4.5GHz overclock kore chalacchi. Right now my current configuration goes as follow :

    Multiplyer : 45
    CPU PLL Overvoltage : Enabled
    Speedstep : Enabled
    Speedstep Tuning Max : 180
    Speedstep Tuning Min : 140
    BCLK : 100MHz (untouched)
    CPU Spread Spectrum : Disabled

Load Line Calibration : Level 2

Core Voltage (vCore) : Auto.......(if i put this auto - then while in halt state it reduces the voltage and cools off the CPU.....and when under full stress it raises at 1.28 max)
    CPU PLL Voltage : 1.709v

    DRAM Config : XMP Profile 1.2 (9-9-9-24 @ 1.5v and 1600MHz - corsair vengeance)

    Advanced CPU config :
    C1E state halt - Enabled
    C2 - Disabled
    C6 - Disabled
    Thermal Management - Disabled

ei holo obostha. Now ami 4.8 GHZ e jaite chai using my Frio Air Cooler......and when i get my hands on the H100 Hydro i will touch 5.0GHz. Shomossha hocche ei setting e 4.8GHz e gele PC bios loading er pore windows ar boot hoy na - restart or hang......ekbar Tubro OC korsilam - but mashallah vCore dise 1.425. Temp dhum dham 80 te uthe gese while stress checking. SO.....all ASROCK Users.............help me out - and gimme a solid OC setting......

    ---------- Post added at 09:46 ---------- Previous post was at 09:42 ----------

Another thing : @4.5GHz amar max stress level e vCore max holo 1.28. Idle e downclock thakey....therefore temp khubbi kom - 28 to 29 degree. And when under full stress 65-66 degree is maximum. Average e 62.

So as long as you never exceed about 80+ everything should be good, taken that 2600K usually has better silicon yields than 2500K, you should easily be able to take the overclock a notch higher, first try 4.8, if you have a good cooler try 5GHZ.
    FTW!!!!!!!!!!

LOL you sound grumpy . Umm I havent played around with SB chips yet, besides its more likely that at 4.8 and above you'll have to find out your own settings, try increasing vcore in small steps and find the best setting, you will want to burn in your cpu first for better results ;D

4.8GHz porjonto ami gesi - easily - kisui korte hoy na ashole - and according to all reknowned overclockers in many forums - 1.4 er niche 4.8+ hoy i na bolte gele - 10% can achieve it - even they have long term usage flaws. One of them suggested there is absolutely no point risking a CPU's a** by increasing vCore to 1.4 from a very descent vcore 1.3v. Ar amar to 4.5GHz rock solid stable hoy 1.272v te......so apatoto ami 4.5GHz e chupchap boshe asi. Ekhon review or thread er baireo to ekta world ache - same mobo and same series er processor dia jodi keu 4.8 or 5.0GHZ er margin reach korte parey then i request them to share it. Cause - 4.5+ er pore kono kichui auto dia hobe na - almost all things to be manually changed and tweaked. Hope u understand........and hey - Grumpy hobar kisu nai..........i am always cool headed......

    SOMEBODY?..............4.8GHz setting pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

    ---------- Post added January 21st, 2012 at 04:11 ---------- Previous post was January 20th, 2012 at 22:30 ----------

Finally - had a stable OC of 4.8GHz @ 1.340vCore. The idle temperature is 33-34 and load temp is 75-77 degrees.......................now there is only 2 things to do.......revert back to 4.5Ghz @ 1.272v and wait for Corsair H100 to come - then 4.8GHz will be 24/7 and will take an attempt to break the 5.0GHz margin.......
