You want a mid range card? And your budget is around 15k?
    Go buy a HD6850 / GTX 460.
Both are good, the former provides better frames in most games, but the difference is hardly noticeable unless you plan on gaming at higher resolutions.
And don't even think about that GTX 550ti crap. No matter how OC'd it is, it's still a piece of crap. Even the 5770 provides better bang for buck.

Demand for discrete graphics is low in BD, so to see a lack in supply is really surprising.
I saw a similar thing last year when I wanted to buy a graphics card.
Maybe its one of their ways to keep prices high.

All I can do now is pray that either 7850 does not cost more than 25k or an affordable 560 Ti pops out of thin air in the market. This 7850 thing is already overpriced at $259 in US, given its performance is not that much better than 560 ti, which can be found for $30 less. Now if UCC decides to loot us by slapping a ridiculous price tag of some BDT 28000-30000, then it'll leave middle-range customers with no other way but to wait for six months.

Not being able to buy the graphics card of your choice even though you've got the money in your hand is quite depressing.
