Lately there has been a number of ranting going on in the BG shop section which lead to so many misunderstandings and bashing and flaming and debate, while it has drawn the attention of the moderators and the site administrators, I'd like to share my opinion over the matter and I'll share a few suggestions on the features I'd like to see being implemented to the BG Shop.
Firstly, a seller and buyer reputation system for buyers and sellers alike. This should only be applicable for sales and purchase made with BG Shop, as in products sold and bought within the BG Members, for each Product or number of products sold in a thread, The Seller will receive a reputation point, and the BG member(s) who bought the product(s) will receive one point as a "potential" buyer and if the product(s) is sold through another media (as in clickBD or cellbazaar) the seller will not benefit as a BG Shop seller nor it will help him gain any reputation as the interaction didn't happen between two individuals of this forum who are eligible to use the BG shop, if for some reason the seller fails to follow the rules and regulations of BG he can be given a negative rep by the moderators after justifying the cause and the same goes for buyers, if a seller complains about a buyer for booking a product and then cancelling the booking later on without notifying in a suitable period (like 2 or three days before the transaction) however, pinning this complaint against a buyer depends strictly on the seller and there shouldn't be anyone else involved in the matter.
If the seller wishes to put up a product or products for sale that has warranty, the seller must state it clearly as whether the product has warranty or not and place of purchase with the exact date and the buyer or buyers when buying the product, must provide feedback as to whether the buyer or buyers received the product in good condition and have gotten the possession of necessary papers for RMA/warranty claim and then the mod may close the thread as a successful transition has been made.
Now for products without warranty, as a seller you must atleast provide 7 days money back guarantee (guarantee period are subjects to change due to negotiation made between the buyer and seller) and after the guaranteed/testing period, the buyer must provide feedbak, and upon receiving a positive feedbak, the thread will be closed by moderators and if the feedback from the buyer happens to be negative, the buyer and seller are to sort this out within themselves (after providing feedbak to the original thread of course) and sellers are adviced to take fresh pictures before handing over products to keep as evidence of the product's condition as to counter arguments regarding product tampering..
(more coming later on, please comment and post your suggestions/implementation/views on what you think about the matter)
