NVidia GTX 680 available for pre-order in Europe
Kepler, the much awaited new graphics engine from nVidia, looks to be close to launch. We have posted reports about many unconfirmed rumors from the green corner, with NVidia notably quiet about the yet to be released cards. The first offering, GTX 680, looks to be very close to release, with at least two European retailers listing it for pre-order.
Comcom.nl had listed the Zotac GTX 680 with a pre-tax price of €426.20, making it €507.18 with taxes. The page now says they are out of stock - although whether that's because they have sold all their pre-allocated models or because they pulled the listing is not known.
The same card, listed as Zotac GTX680 2GB DDR5 256 bit 1006 6008HDCP Dual DVI HDMI DP, is also available frommaxict.nl, for €508.50. The listing show that the GPU clock will be 1006 MHz, and the memory clock will be an effective 6008 MHz. The Zotac offering will have two dual-link DVI connectors, an HDMI and a DisplayPort connector. The listing says the cards will be available in 1-2 weeks.
