Yeah thats the GTR 685 Which is rumored to be dual GK104s. & another GTX690 will be there.

    ---------- Post added at 00:41 ---------- Previous post was at 00:39 ----------

Don't expect that to be cheap though, its gonna be around 60k atleast due to the fact that Nv Always prices their top-end card the highest. (680 was more like a 570 in the kepler family).
yeah dude i am setting my budget to 65K-70K (if there's a lightning version ) cuz its the ultimate kepler THE REAL succesor to GTX580 and people have to pay premium for it.....i dont knw those who have 580s why r they getting 680s? but again 3GB 580 owners are waiting for GK110....waiting never hurts

670ti and 660ti are supposed to release in April nd May.......where the big guns like GK110 and GTX690 are rumoured to release in August but GK110 may shift down to FALL 2012

dats not guaranteed..... dont knw what AMD's strategy is because within this time the price should have dropped but they r not.............dats sure gonna halt 7900 series sales or already slowing its slow sales down cuz everyone is busy with GTX680....lol even seen 7970 owners selling 7970 for GTX680....may be AMD waiting for Nvidia's mid-range cards.....

the MAXX Vram i noticed with my card was 2100Mhz dat was in Total WAR shogun 2 with all the settings set to max...dat was kinda mind boggling @ 1080p....and tiles line BF3,metro 2033,crysis 2 i am averaging @ 1400-1900Mhz depending on the situation....

so target GTX780/GK110 as ur next upgrade......that will provide much bigger leap than GTX680
still @ 40K the GTX680 is still the BEST value for money(really didn't xpected GTX680 to be this cheap)...its the fastest single GPU,cool card etc etc but at this moment 580 or 560ti sli owners will hardly need it...unless they just want it....
    thnx a lot vaia, btw

I meant that the 7970 was only short lived in terms of being the top end, now it's the under dog with the 680 released. What's more confusing is that nVidia managed to do it with mainstream card(not even the high end), so yeah.

Not to be a fanboy or anything. I know Nvidia took it this time, everyone knows Nvidia made AMD look like a complete douche with the Kepler. But AMDs 6xxx and 5xxx were more successful and gained more sales than the 4xx and 5xx. Though I have to agree, the flagships were always held by Nvidia.

Full blown Kepler is yet to be released, just like the 580- the true successor to the 580 atleast. Nvidia decided to call it high end, take as much as $150-200 more since it was competing nicely with the 7970, actually beating it on all grounds: FPS/Power Consumption/Surround Gaming, and what else? Don't you think the price of 7970 should atleast a $100 lower from the start, that's right where nvidia took the advantage. No one in the right set of mind will buy a 7970 now which costs $50 more and performs less than a 680 which can be had for $50 less and with better features.

5xxx series were great actually, and gave Nvidia a hard time with their 470/480. The 460 was priced just right back then, and was a delight for power consumption: performance. With the release of the 5xx series, I don't find much value in their 6xxx. Hell even a 5870 performs amazing till today, against the 6950 on some games and also is a tad bit better than the 560Ti.

eita to gelo ekta 500$ card er success er kahini... Sources say that models less powerful than the 680 will have less than 2gb vram. This makes me think that 78xx cards will be more popular than nvi cards within the same price range.
