Laptop Suggestion

He needs a laptop. Requirements are a 15 inch screen, core i5 (any gen works), 1tb hdd and 4gb ram. Decent battery life wouldn't hurt either, but is not mandatory. So what are the options? Max budget is 30k. Will be used for watching movies, browsing the net, torrenting and for slight use of photoshop and illustrator. He doesn't mind 2nd hand/refurbished laptops either as long as they have no issues and are fresh...

acer has 1tb hdd at 31k
or you can take asus...
doesnt look like anything satisfies all your needs....
lenovo seems out of stock in startech... search idb for lenovo... you might find good one with dedicated gpu chip though ur friend doesnt play games
I have a laptop which i might be willing to sell in january, you have to collect it from my parents though as they will be bringing the laptop from canada. Its an hp elitebook 8460p, with core i5 2540M, 4 gb ram, 320 gb hdd though but then again I am not exactly selling it for 30k, so you can use the extra money to buy a 1tb external hdd. It has some minor scrathes though.
Bought it from staples canada and it was a refurbished laptop. Served my purpose very well, reason for selling is that i am thinking of buying a macbook air 13 inch to shift to apple ecosystem.
