    Default Buying products from abroad

    As salamu Alaikum Ya'll .

Returning to gaming after a while . So need to buy some parts .

I have a friend who lives in china and he's frequent in travelling from here to there . So less worry about the warranty part .

I was thinking of buying a MSI/Gigabyte 1060 6Gb through him . is that a good idea ? Saw some prices on JD.com and newegg.com.cn and it's similar to US prices . Should i go through with the plan ?

And also any insight on the black friday on NOV 25 ?

    TIA MOYNA PAKHI

Yikes, that top design looks awkward. Probably that's where the VRM settles and cools off with it's tiny turbines

If you have no problem with the warranty part, the price in China seems to be pretty good for the 1060. However, spending more than 2000RMB on a 1060 6GB will not be that good of a value. Like a MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G is 30K in Bangladesh where it will cost you 28K if you buy it from China...

However, if you buy this Colorful iGame 1060 6G, it will cost you 22K, which is a hell of a deal if you get the warranty sorted out. You will probably never find a 1060 6GB in Bangladesh at that price now. Also, I think there is a free mouse with it?

I could be wrong about all of this as I am researching it on the go. No experience about this. But, I hope this helps you out.

while we are talking about fans... i read somewhere if we could replace 2 big of a gpu with 4 smaller fans it could take more air? i donno why gpu companies dont make 4fan-gpus... maybe the impact is minimal...

Probably due to smaller fans need to have higher RPM to achieve similar/greater airflow than bigger fans(afaik) That could introduce more vibration and sound. Also to maintain and sync 4 fans on a piece of pcb hanging on a PCIe slot should be a problem. Also, the card could look hideous with four fans.

Well the smaller fans would have to compensate with much higher RPM to make up for the lost CFM and then even more to beat it. I'd assume noise becomes a concern at load temperatures.
