I have some questions about soon to be released ps4 pro and next year's xboxZero aka. scorpio (there is no official name for it so i will call it xboxZero for fun).
The situation is getting clumsy with too many console fanboys arguing on the internet (with random pc master race comments). even news sites are not sure about many of the policies... There are lot of contradictions on news sites and let's not mention the tweets and retweets from sony and microsoft gaming department heads and stuffs so i need to clear up some things.
It's astounding that ps4 pro is getting released in weeks and nobody seems to be 100% sure what's the gaming policy will be. i guess it's understandable as this 'half a generation' thing almost never happened before.
1. no ps4 pro exclusive. sony will not allow any ps4 pro games if it doesn't run in ps4 in lower resolution. right or wrong?
1b. does this go same for VR titles as well?
2. ps4 pro games will only have higher resolution than ps4 games but not better graphical detail.
2b. both better resolution and graphical detail
3. sony will not allow ps4 pro games to be more responsive (more fps) even in singleplayer
3b. sony will allow ps4 pro games to be higher fps but not in multiplayer.
right or wrong?
4. all existing ps4 games will run automatically at ps4 pro with higher resolution. developers don't need to do anything. right?
5. this might seem a noob question for some of you but if you had ps4 and sold it to buy ps4 pro will all the digital games, particularly all the ps network features and ps now features work flawlessly for you?
EDIT : 6. dual monitors?
same question goes for xboxZero... though i don't think anybody knows the xboxZero policies because it's still 1 year due
