Thread: Help build PC

    Default Help build PC

I am spending most of my budget on a graphics card and processor. Planning on buying a rx 480 and i5 6500. I need someone to recommend me a good affordable 8 GB DDR4 RAM (I don't know ,much about which brand would be better), motherboard, power supply, 1 TB storage and casing for as cheap as possible. I don't plan on over-clocking anything, so I don't know if I will need a cooler.

Just a suggestion for you never spend too much on gpu over rest of the other components, because you can change gpu anytime you want but people don't upgrade other components every day. Try to buy b150 series motherboard and atleast 16gb of rams to play properly recent titles. Even 480 cant handle games properly if you have low memories in ultra settings for most of the games like ROTR or gta V, battlefield 1 and dont forget to buy a good psu to support your new build the best

^Not true, he could sell CPU as well and get Kaby Lake once it's out. Kaby Lake supports the same socket as Skylake

As for GPU, RX 480 seems good enough for next 2 years. DX12 future proofing has gone pretty far
