turning off browser notification?

sorry for opening a thread for this but how to turn off browser notification upon receiving pm? whenever i get pm i see javascript browser popups... which doesnt work as i want it to.

i only want website notification on top right corner but javascript popups are a bit annoying...

I think you have to go Settings >>then click General Settings>> then go to Private Message Section here you will find a option like> New Private Message Notification Pop-up: just check the dont show button and you are done I believe.
