Buying RAM for Desktop PC

I have motherboard GIGABYTE 78LMT-S2P
MY current RAM is Transcend 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz

If i buy a Transcend 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz ram and want to use it with my current ram will it be compatible?

Here's what I think.

Buy two sticks of 4GB Transcend 1600 MHz DDR3, and sell off the 4GB DDR3 RAM you currently have.

They have said that about "MSI" when they were "Micro Star International"...I have heard that about "Zotac" before they were factory ocing the tihs out of those amp extreme cards..."AsRock" was a puny cheap subsidiary for Asus once...even the great "Asus" is not so great when it comes to their early product series...

Every tech company starts yttihs...it's the innovation, reliability and the gimmick that makes them popular with general consumers...In my opinion, "performance wise" Team is directly competing with G.Skill & Corsair in Bangladeshi market...so it's unfair to mark them as "not that good"...(here's a nice thread though it's bit old Is Team Elite RAM any good?)

(On Topic) However, in your case, I would encourage you to get a second hand 1333 memory instead of getting a new one...maybe something like this would do (Transcend 4 GB DDR3 1333)...

but wont buy a second hand ram cause previous mistake of buying and after 4 months it was dead. and the person i bought it from did not have receipt of the store he bought it from.

My budget is around Tk. 3.5K

Or is it better to buy one 8 GB ram rather than tow 4 GB?

If you don't have any plan on upgrading to 16GB, buy two sticks. In case of memories it's better to get even numbers. And, get the Team Elite Plus as it looks way better while offering the same specs.

If you can find them, you should get them. Price could be little inflated because of low stock though.
