Comcast trades package price with your privacy.
Comcast, one of the biggest cable broadband in USA wants to sell users' web information to advertisers. They will charge you more money if you don't want your information to be sold to advertisers. Comcast says there is even precedent for this type of things. Some At&t packages and etc. already demand you to give up your privacy for packages. Mircrosoft does sell your windows desktop information to advertisers. Google collects all of your information to provide more relevant advertisements.

That's what you get when privacy is not a fundamental right and conniving mono/duopolies with capitalist agenda are left unchecked cause keeping them in line is akin to succumbing to barbaric socialism. The more I think about it the more it seems that rosy glowy United States is no better than socially corrupt Russia they like to despise. Only difference is small players vs big players. These giant corps will pay whatever money to policymakers albeit in the name of charity/fundraiser/election campaigns to dig up trenches where the consumers will go to die. Good riddance capitalism sucks!
