Default Need expert advices for a grphics card within 40K

I need to buy a graphics card within August. My budget is ~ 40K. My system supports

crossfire (ASUS B75). Will be upgrading from HD 7970 3GB AMD Ref. Monitor is

SONY FHD TV. My goal is to maintain 1080p 60fps at high/ultra detail.

    My options are:

    1. RX 480 4 GB crossfire (it may not be a good idea)

    2. GTX 1070 (I m liking the new feature fast sync)

    3. An OCed second hand 980ti (And better OC headroom)

    4. Or just a GTX 980 (2nd hand) for ~ 25K, which may be enough for future games

    5. 2nd hand 390X or Fury NonX (will be tough to get one)

    6. Your preference

Option 4 nad 5 are for saving some bucks.

Need suggessions from those who are expert in this matter.

    Thanks in advance.

    Gtx 1070.

Do not get Gtx 980ti/980 as it sucks in Dx 12. So it doesn't make sense to buy it now. Rx 480 is on par with 970 and beats it sometimes. But it won't be able to maintain 1080p ultra at constant 60 fps- so if that bothers you then don't go for 480.

Note: Fast sync is just like vsync + limiting framerate to your with 3rd party software. Pretty much possible on every cards with Nvidia Inspector or Radeon pro.
    Need For Sync: G-sync

Yes it is dude. Its on par and sometimes beats it. 980ti beats in some games though. But look at what happened to 780ti and 970. Nvidia doesnt optimize their old card.

They will optimize 1000 series more.

    - - - Updated - - -

Well, fast sync doesn't make your game smooth. Well it makes it smooth. Its just Vsync.

So, why does it reduce the lag which is caused by Vsync? Well, vsync causes input lag if your fps is more than your refresh rate or less than refresh rate. Now if you cap your fps to that of yur monitor, for example 60fps lock in your 60hz monitor with vsync- then the lag reduces a lot. If you limit your fps to 58 in 60hz, then there is no lag like vsync but it stutters a bit.

No all fast sync does is limit your games gps to that of refresh rate. Vsync limits your fps too, but it doesn't completely limit it from the game. Does you ger delayed frames.

You can use bandicam/dxtory/radeon pro/Nvidia inspector to limit your fps and its pretty much done.
    Need For Sync: G-sync

You really should check out the forum more often. A storm has been going on here...

However, as everyone is suggesting, wait some time for the GTX 1070. Specially, wait for the Zotac ones. Now a days, this is the only company that has a relatively good reflection of price when it comes to "1 Dollar = 100 Taka" in Bangladesh...

1070 comes with 8gb vram and its a better choice. you need to wait for 1070 non ref to come here and price be stable... u need to do a lot of waiting. its good with dx12
ayyymd fanbots here dont quote me, i will not reply. and just for those ayymd fanbots who gonna quote me, when 1070 will fail meet his expectation, by that time 2x480 will also fail to meet his expectation, you can mark my words. bye

and please, stay away from reference 480.

I would suggest the GTX 1070 for now. Other than that, if you can still use your HD 7970 then do so cause RX 490 will come out soon. It'll probably be targeting against the GTX 980 Ti

I'd say wait for DirectX 12 games to release. 3-4 games will release in Q4. Like a great man once said, nobody'll bat an eye for DirectX 12 until Battlefield is released :v
My probable next build: Qisan MagicForce 68 (Outemu switch) / Teamwolf Zhuque+ 87 TKL (Outemu) / Monoprice Select series full size (Outemu/Gateron) / Drevo Gramr 84 TKL (Outemu) • Logitech G102 Prodigy • Deepcool Dukase V3 / Thermaltake Versa U21 • Superlux HD 681 • Creative Sound Blaster E1 • LG 22MP68VQ • SteelSeries QcK • Generic executive chair • others TBA

djrock please don't bother me. You are in my ignore list so I don't have to see literal poop.

Considering everyones' suggestions here, I think i m leaning towards 1070.

Yes, 1070 seems to be the best deal for my budget, if just i can get a deal within 41/42K range.

Now I have almost 2 months to AIB cards to arrive and fall below current FE price level (46K - Zotac FE- UCC), but sometimes i doubt it will happen.
