So it begins. Frostbite is the engine used by Battle field 4 and other great EA titles. I just hope they will make the Pc version good aswell, better not screw up with Pc like Fifa 14 again.

Why the heck didn't they even use it in the first place? Is it me or the annual installments that EA releases with FIFA is utter crap with visuals?
EA has a very low time for releasing Fifa every year. Ignite engine was just an updated version of impact engine. Fifa 17 probably got more development time:http://gamerant.com/ea-sports-fifa-16-17-development/
So the use of Frostbite for Fifa 17 was already under development I suppose. Anyway, I don't think Fifa has worse visuals. Visuals on Night matches look very pale though- since they screw up the lighting shaders. Anyway, Fifa is the only game where cloth simulation is better if not the best. GTA V and Max Payne 3 had similar simulation process but didn't look good as Fifa and while Fifa 15 and 16 use 8 normal maps for cloth simulation, Gta V and Mp3 used only 3. Pes has similar mechanism except it doesn't move much since they made the Kits way to tight. Last time it looked great was in Pes 10 (Still used 3 bump maps yet looked better than Mp3 and Gta V). Pes 14 tried to do a good thing and mixed cloth simulation with both variable normal maps and physics for the 3d model itself but didn't develop it further and removed it from their Shirt models.
I don't know why other developers don't use this cloth simulation technique. It doesn't eat much performance as it does with real time cloth physics but it still looks better than real time physics. This technique haa been used in Since Fifa 07 (Ps3, 360 versions only).
But yeah, graphics aren't still on par with many modern AAA titles but Fifa 16 did improved a lot and looks better in day matches. Hopefully they will improve it further. But right now my concern is if they improved the response time of pkayer movements. Dribbling in Fifa 12 and 13 was best and fun. In Fifa 14 it started to feel as if there were input lags.

By the way, Fifa 14 on Pc, Ps360 had one of the worst graphics in that generation. Totally garbage graphics.
Thank god. I hope at least this time, people will realize 5450 is not enough for playing FIFA. The amount of 5450 we sell, i doubt even ballpen gets sold that amount each month.
PHIFA Optimized game maitePeople play this game at 3840x2160 120Fps using the Uptra high LoD mod to make the player graphics look same from gameplay camera.
Even a R9 270x beats the ¤¤¤¤ outta this game. Very optimized. Hopefully it will stay optimized forever. Pes is kinda optimized too but since Pes 15 konami ditched the Pc version. Its not even worth pirating this game.
Thank god Fifa 17 finally supports Ultrawide.
But the game can't be modded yet and thus LoDs look ugly as phuck. The clothes dont move durin gameplay.
Cloths move durin gameplay since Fifa 11. Now Fifa 17 looks uglier than Fifa 11.
Much better, will be a big improvement
