For the router: I think Tp-Link WR720N is the least expensive router with Bandwidth control.

Zotac is quite good. I have been using the 240GB for a while, and I must say it performs. In my case, it has better Read/Write speed than Transcend 256GB SSD370, and better Read speed than 480GB SanDisk SSD Plus. And, I could even notice the responsiveness after replacing my Transcend one with Zotac. It looks way better too. Some statistics below (don't mind the occasional hiccups, running apps in the background)

evo is best in terms of read and write speed afik but in economical way intel or zodiac can be also a good alternative of evo in the end it depends on you what you really want, try to avoid tplink routers they will eventually fail or have random dc issue or high ping on both 7xx series instead go for asus routers they also have auto net settings and auto port forwarding facilities which is quite handy if you use real ip

    it's retail price is 999/=.
actually is not that awful, it gets the job done pretty well. Although SMC router has better QoS interface but both TP link or SMC will do that just fine.

I did not suggest this for OP but Xiaomi mini router is very good value for price, has many features that would be found in much more expensive routers from the likes of Netgear and D-link. It supports the wifi AC standard with 5GHz band which are its best features. It has good enough range to get good signal at every location of my home which is about 2,000 sft.

But the problem was it was shipped with chinese language firmware. Even though it supports English, the setting is hidden until the router locale is changed to Europe before the English language option is available. It took a lot of fiddling with the settings to find out how to change the language to English.
