Link3 or dhakacom for gaming in uttara?
I think i have to leave dot. Link3 or dhakacom which is better in uttara sector11 for gaming (csgo/dota/squad/rust) SG and EU(france uk germany)? i also need to watch utube and twitch.tv. i dont usually download a loooot but consider downloading 300gB-500gB per month nonetheless

Yup, it's garbage, but at this point everything is. Don't know much about dhakacom, but do know link3 is terrible. so i guess dhakacom. mazeda has awesome CS btw, they'll fix any issues in a few hours, only problem is the problems occur wayy too often and lag spikes are frequent. however, if you have a real IP that might not happen, and also if you have some connector type thing, where basically when you're online your speed does not get shared with others, it's most probably illegal though, the CS guy that fixes your connection just installs it for a few 100. infact he's the one who offered it to me. had it for a bit over a week now and the situation's a LOT better. much better than DOT.Originally Posted by furiousTaher
Not even Dhakacom, their network sucks if you're playing games at US, Japan, Russian, Chinese or European servers. High latency, it spikes up a lot in downloads, also shared network horrible. Tbh no ISPs in Uttara can give anything better than...........ugh god Link3

I probably think that's the devs not renting better server. Tank based games don't need good ping I think. Every game I played (War Thunder and Armored Warfare) the ping is 200-300ms

What I have seen from youtube videos, you know from reviewers, the ping was as low as 60ms or so and yes tank based games do not need that good ping like warface or any other similar game might need.

I have become a reluctant fan of Link3. I tried to shift from Link3 to Triangle and it was a pain. Triangle customer care was responsive but my problems with ping in garena continued to repeat every weak. Once I returned to Link3 stability with ping was ok. But then the they added youtube and even akamai cdn cache server and also reduced prices. So I think Link3 is the best at all aspects at this moment.
whoever is using link3 or dhakacom or (any other isp) please ping these servers...

Dhakacom's pings aren't that good either
To be honest, I wouldn't suggest AmberIT (Dhakacom's new name) for gaming . Pings are relatively higher than other ISP (for example, delta infocom), BDIX/CDN speed is quite low (a measly 2 mB/s where as local ISP users get more than 10 mB/s, not sure though could only be me), a FTP server with no new/good content (compared to Mazeda/Dot.) and they have area specific issues (at Uttara and Nikunja, according to facebook/here).

Only take it if you have no other choice.
