graphics card fan speed curve not working MSI afterburner

recently bought sapphire 260x 1gb. win10 x64
graphics card fan speed not increasing at all. stuck at like 50% or less. using msi afterburner custom fan curve. even when using default curve its not increasing.
this problem showed up for last 2 days apparently.. before that i didnt see this problem.
afterburner latest version. driver version 16.4.1... i tried 16.3.2 also...


while using sapphire trixx the fan curve working properly it seems... but i havent use for much so i cant confirm whether it will work forver properly.

I have faced almost similar issue with afterburner. Custom Fan Profile did not work after starting the PC, though afterburner kept showing that it is selected. I had to manually re-select the profile to make it work. However, after a clean installation of afterburner, the problem seems to be solved.

amar gtx 560 ti e 75% e stuck chhilo. pore dekha gesilo je stock bios e 75% e lock kora. so nibitor ar nvflash dia bios edit kore flash kora lagsilo. but not in this case I think. who on their right mind would lock at 50%?

seems like the main problem with msi afburner for my card is the fan speed at 0C. if i set 0C 75% fan speed then fan will get stuck at 75% all the time.

i had to ditch aftter burner completely and it seems working now.... with trixxx

damn... even my 280x showing problem in another pc with msi afterburner fan curve.... whats wrong with windows 10? -_- anybody else having problem with windows 10 fan curve (msi afterburner)?

Because Windows 10 is Windows XP v2 with degraded UI graphics. Lots of problems, incompabilities and so on. You have to wait for updates and maybe then might solve the issue.

By the by, may I ask why you bought R9 260x when you got 280x ?
