    Why does Google global cache go through level3 carrier but akamai goes through novocom limited?

    Both are different, Google is a first party for first party servers like YouTube, Google.com, Gmail etc and Akamai gives CDN cache for third party. Basically almost everywhere

    i think your ISP buy the YouTube bandwidth from level 3 and facebook from novocom.

    To my understanding, Facebook uses akamai to deliver static content (such as images).
