Set in 1943 Italy, Sniper Elite 4 tasks series protagonist Karl Fairburne with crippling the Axis forces by shooting as many fascist testicles as inhumanly possible.
What's new?
Wide, non-linear levels, all of them much larger than Sniper Elite 3's let you pick your preferred sniping spots and search for collectibles. The sun-soaked Italian setting allows for a better variety of locals filled with members of the PNF and NSDAP, each blessed with improved AI compared with the idiots of the previous games.
New traversal moves and environmental takedowns allow for better navigation and a wider range of options to approach each combat scenarios. In addition environmental hazards sprinkled throughout the environments can be triggered to innocuously dispatch multiple enemies with a single bullet.
The series' signature X-ray vision is back, grosser of funnier than ever depending on your sensibilities. Each enemy's internal organs is lovingly rendered as your bullets pierces through bones and flesh to reach them.
