Microsoft's Windows Store Trying to Kill PC Gaming!
Pretty self-explanatory and I'll leave the links below. Summary: Games bought from Windows Store is not .exe but proprietory .ump (metro app?). This hinders the GPU driver interacting with the game. So NO SLI/CrossFire, NO TURNING OFF V-SYNC, NO MOD SUPPORT. You might say, "aha! GFWL again. Bye bye Quantum Break, Gears of War, Fable Legends and others. Going back to Steam." But because of Microsoft's interesting tendency in forcing consumer decision as of late e.g. No DirectX 12 unless Windows 10, no way to manual update Windows 10 etc. to name a few some are speculating that as the PC's most popular gaming OS, PC Gaming as a whole might get trapped in Microsoft's "Walled Garden".

nope they are not trying to kill pc gaming, coz pc gaming doesnt depend on microsoft's games. if anything they are trying to 'help' pc gaming (and trying to get some extra cash) by officially announcing that xbox one will have no exclusive games.
they are just trying to force their 'drm' (?) to people, and by that harming pc gamers in some way
