I moved my PC from one room to another. But I don't want to run the Ethernet cable through one room to another as it prevents me from closing my bedroom door e.e.
So,I have decided to go for a wireless solution.
Now,my question is can I use a 150mbps wireless adapter with a 300mbps router?
I have a spare 150mbps USB wireless adapter but every time I use it: it connects for a while then keeps disconnecting or getting limited access.
But my smartphone gets the networks just fine in my room.
In any case, I am planning on buying another wireless receiver so I need suggestions: Do I go for a PCIe 1x lan card or a usb adapter?
Is there any difference in performance between the two?
I want to get this lan card but my PC is kind off in a corner. Will it severely harm the connection?
