Well you guys can't just expect a powerful PSU with the same connector and other plug-ins to stay the same as the others from years to come can you?

The ST1000-G would be enough for 2x 580s.

You can use this to calculate how much power you actually need:

    http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

I just made rough calculation for you taking information from your gadget.

CPU: OCed to 3.8 with CPU Vcore 1.45v
    580GTX SLI
    2 stick RAM
    1 High rpm SATA
    and others

    Minimum PSU Wattage: 642 W
    Recommended
    PSU Wattage:
    *

So you can add 2 more GTX 580 easily which will cost you a total of 1064w
    Hope that helps you.
