Multiplan TV shops review

My parents have told me to get a 50-55inch TV for them, I have looked into the official distributors SONY/SAMSUNG they provide 1 year replacement warranty and just sony gives 5 years free service BUT their price is extremely high compared to the shops in MULTIPLAN.

for example sony x85c has a price of 4.4lac in the RANGS/sony but a price of 1.8lac in multiplan my question is why such a big difference in price.

i dont know much about TV's(didnt watch tv in the past 7years) so I would like your opinion on this matter and tell me how genuine is their products in multiplan.

Not sure if i should do this in here or open a different thread, but i kinda need a similar suggestion.

Anyway my brother asked me to choose a TV for him, and i have no idea at all. His budget is max 50k and looking around 40".
Any suggestions?

Offtopic: Ah am curious btw, does Stadium shops provide warranty when selling TV?

@Trave160 afaik only the authorized dealers e.g. Rangs, Transcom, Electra, Singer provide 1 year free replacement warranty e.g. remote, panel etc. and longer service warranty e.g. fixing things. whereas any gray market e.g. Multiplan/stadium market shops will provide only service warranty since they can't procure officially. @Tarik you can search up latest models from various brands on and read their reviews at www.hdtvtest.co.uk since asian models' reviews are hard to find and Asian and European models are almost same (50hz) vs US/NA models (60hz). and then search models at bdstall.com then know the price. Try to stick between Sony and Samsung.

do not buy from showroom. Because at half the price you are getting the same stuff and if anything ever happens that will be a lot cheaper to repair than paying double.

if for some reason you still can't repair, just go and buy another TV with the money you saved in the 1st place. hope this makes sense.

I don't know for sure too but they have to right? I mean 20k+ for what, just to certify that we bought from official distributor? anyawy no need to consider it since 1 year is too low wven for people who like to stick with official thingies e.g. my dad
