First of all June is like light years away from now in the world of technology, so nobody knows what the situation will be then. But I am quite sure that pascal won't be out by that time. And 980Ti, if available in bd, will cost you the same as today even if its international price had gone down.

Unless money is nothing but dust for you and spending 300K on ur first pc build is quite cheap compared to other spending u have made in the past. I would recommend you not to spend more than 60K on ur entire system and learn the basics of maintaining a system. My first system died within 2 yrs. I know how many mistakes a noob can make to kill his/her system within no time.

Since you are willing to wait until June and since you have the budget to go wild, you should wait for Pascal or something with HBM 2.0 preferably.

No it will not be released in june, it'll come out near the end of this year. if you cannot wait till then, simply get a 980Ti.

I never thought I'd get this many replies. Thank u for ur suggestion guys. This will be my first system that I will have built. My first system was a gift from my grandfather; it had 2gb of ram and a 2 duo. It was my first everything...photoshop..first line of code...
Lived for 5 yrs in my unworthy hands before it puffed out some smoke and died. Rip first rig.

    1. Get a mid-range system. Upgrade it down the line frequently. 970 or 980

    2. Wait for Pascall.

I see no value in wasting money on Maxwell since Pascall is so close and Nvidia has nerfed DirectX 12 support on Maxwell.
My probable next build: Qisan MagicForce 68 (Outemu switch) / Teamwolf Zhuque+ 87 TKL (Outemu) / Monoprice Select series full size (Outemu/Gateron) / Drevo Gramr 84 TKL (Outemu) • Logitech G102 Prodigy • Deepcool Dukase V3 / Thermaltake Versa U21 • Superlux HD 681 • Creative Sound Blaster E1 • LG 22MP68VQ • SteelSeries QcK • Generic executive chair • others TBA

djrock please don't bother me. You are in my ignore list so I don't have to see literal poop.
