ASus Gtx 570 bake

Hi all,
My gtx 570 is not starting. although it shows it get power but no fan spin or display output.
I clean and reapply thermal paste but no help.
Any one bake his card?
Can i use microwave oven to bake this card.

any one with real life experience pls share ur experience.

I actually did bake one. 4-5 years ago probably. Ah! So naive. It was my friend's graphics card. The card had artifact problem. It ran for a while. Then, there was artifact again. However, DON'T BAKE IT IN A MICRO WAVE OVEN. And, here is the worst documented video here.

Definitely NOT in a microwave oven. Putting a graphics card, or any electronic device in microwave will cause arcing/sparks and maybe small explosions.
If you really try to bake it, remember it is a last ditch effort, try it in a electric heater type oven.

Although if you want, I know a guy in Mirpur who fixes graphics card by replacing few parts or proper diagnosis and tweaking. Baking card doesn't fix everything, it means some of your components have worn out

How much he will charge is dependable on lot of things, he lives somewhere near Mirpur 10. I don't know the exact address but I have his number, I'll pm you

there is a little chance that the card will revive + you cant do it in microwave oven which will destroy the chips quite instantly.

A more practical method would be holding a hair dryer close to the suspected chips with a thermal probe.
