Thread: Is Corsair VS450W enough for GTX 950 Extreme Gaming?

Question Is Corsair VS450W enough for GTX 950 Extreme Gaming?

Hi! Recently I bought GTX 950 Extreme Gaming GPU and Corsair VS450W PSU. My question is, am I taking too much risk with the low power psu? My budget was too tight. It's been two days and I'm gaming for more than 15+ hours a day. Am I putting too much stress on this psu?

    My specs:
    I5 4460
    1TB WD Internal HDD
    RAM 8 GB
    No Optical Drive

    Thanx in advance!

Yes it can handle the gpu. have you just bought the psu now? or planning to buy it? if you're planning to then don't. if you already have then your psu should be fine for about 2years or so. it's power starts derating overtime since it's a very entry level psu. but it should be fine for 1.5 to even 2.5yrs after purchase covering the warranty period but i suggest you change it right after 2 years.

It's good for now. Just change it if you have any plan to upgrade your cpu/gpu.
