***steam hacked***

Reports on twitter and several other sites are claiming EA and Steam has been hacked, i have just logged into my account and it's hacked as well, the prices are being shown in MEXICAN pesos instead of USD and when i go to my account it's some other guys email which is : [email protected] like wtf? countless threads are being opened up of people getting similar things steam has disabled purchases so people don't get their money robbed but games are still getting deleted for several people.

Has anyone here experiencing the same just now like me? if you are take screenshots of everything and wait for steam support to come back online hopefully it gets fixed soon and whatever you do don't try buying any games now in that mexican currency even though it's cheap high chance it'll get stolen.

My account seems fine, did you have steam guard activated? Had login issues all day though.

if you have your credit card and paypal info in it..contact your bankaccount and have it disabled for the time being. just did mine hopefully the ****** hacker group "phantom squad" don't rob all my money in it or delete the game for the lols. try checking your profile it should be of some different guy's email and also it'll show that steam is not installed even when you're using steam and already logged in...

I checked and it shows login page in steam store, though the account settings in steam settings shows correct info. Thanks for the heads up anyway.

My account looks perfectly OK, nothing suspicious. Except for this in the "Licenses and Activation" page:

Anyone has any idea what this is? I didn't even log in to steam in past couple of weeks.
Ah well, I don't have anything important in my account.......no credit card or anything. So no worries for now.

Calm down guys. It's fixed now. Valve's statement:

Steam is back up and running without any known issues. As a result of a configuration change earlier today, a caching issue allowed some users to randomly see pages generated for other users for a period of less than an hour. This issue has since been resolved. We believe no unauthorized actions were allowed on accounts beyond the viewing of cached page information and no additional action is required by users.
