Looking to buy US Dollars

hi! i wanted to buy a couple of books from Amazon.com and i know there are a few services on facebook who brings stuff over from the US. but the problem is they charge a LOT and sadly I cannot afford to spend their quoted prices for the books i want. So anyway, i was thinking if any of you guys could help me out with buying US dollars so that I could buy the item myself and have it shipped to one of my friends in the US. so it would be extremely helpful if you could give me some suggestions! thanks!
